‘73 still had the thin chrome bumpers. They got big in ‘74.

I agree. While I obviously love the early thin bumper cars more (because that’s what I have) the big bumper cars are still a good looking car.

That whole bumper thing: never bothered me. Now we have plastic bumpers where any little bump disturbs the paint and half the time, the paint color doesn’t match the rest of the car.
